‘Manage the Club’ Workshop
As a more practical alternative to a Club Officers Day (which used to be held in Benson every 3 years) the BB&O Area Officers have organised a series of task-based Zoom workshops to help club officers and management teams run their club more effectively.
These FREE workshops are open to anyone who is interested, but all clubs are encouraged to send at least one representative to each session.
The ‘Manage the Club‘ workshop aimed at Club Chairmen, vice-Chairmen and Management teams, will be on Monday 10th January 2022 at 7.30pm. The session will deliver information , facilitate discussion and provide the help and guidance on the following aspects.
- Managing a committee or management team
- Ensuring the club and committee function as a whole
- Organising introductions and Vote of Thanks at club meetings
- Channelling information from NAFAS and Area to members
During this session participants are asked to share their own knowledge and experience to support those new to the role.
