Old Windsor Flower Club
Old Windsor Flower Club was formed in 1971 and meets every 1st Wednesday in the month (except August) at 7.30pm for 7.45pm at the Memorial Hall, Straight Road, Old Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 2RN. The club currently has 35 members and our annual membership fee is £36. Visitors are always welcome (£5 per meeting).
At each of our meetings we have a flower arranging demonstration, members’ competition and a sales table. We hold a competitive show every two years as well as social events, an annual outing in the Summer and occasional workshops. Our AGM is held on the 3rd Wednesday in January at The Day Centre, Old Windsor.

A Tribute to the Queen – 2022
Old Windsor Parish Council commissioned our flower club to put a fitting tribute to the Queen in a prominent place in the village on Friday 9th September. The flag is at half mast as you’d expect but to get the top of the flagpole in the picture one would have to stand in the middle of the busy road!The small team of us consisted of Sandie Draper, Valerie Snapes, Martha Hazeldene, Margaret Vickers. Despite the sad occasion lots of passers by gave very positive reactions & one chap even went home & brought us all tea & chocolate biscuits, which was very well received. All in all a pleasant experience of community in action. I’m certain Her Majesty would have approved, may she Rest in Peace.
